Welsh Harlequin Beauties!

I don’t know what is more beautiful than a flock of waddling, bathing ducks! I just love watching this crowd meander about the pasture and forest throughout the day.

We have two male Harlequins: Drake and Duckie. Duckie imprinted on a baby chick (“Chickie”) when he first hatched, and those two have been attached at the wing ever since.

Duckie doesn’t hang with the other ducks at all - I think he believes he is a chicken. He is such a gentleman that when Chickie is laying her daily egg, he waits patiently outside the nesting box for her. He never leaves her❤️.

Drake is in charge of our Harlequin girls. Drake is a jerk, but also he protects the girls. He is still a jerk, and I don’t enjoy him. But he is really beautiful.
