November 2026 Camps
November TWD Camps include the following dates: 2, 3, 11, 20, 23-25 (11/25 half-day only until 1pm; 11/20 half day beginning 11:30am)
Each camp day may include visiting Dirt Slide, Rock Village, Forest Theater & Art Studio, forest hiking, free play in The Canopy, farm animal time, water play, soap-making or beeswax candle-making and more.
December 2026 Camps
December TWD Camps include the following dates: 18, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30, 31 (12/18 11:30-4:30)
Each camp day may include visiting Dirt Slide, Rock Village, Forest Theater & Art Studio, forest hiking, free play in The Canopy, farm animal time, water play, soap-making or beeswax candle-making and more.
March 2027 Camps
March TWD Camps include the following dates: 2, 4, 5, 10, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, 31 (3/24 half day beginning 11:30am)
Each camp day may include visiting Dirt Slide, Rock Village, Forest Theater & Art Studio, forest hiking, free play in The Canopy, farm animal time, water play, soap-making or beeswax candle-making and more.
For those who are new to our TWD, you may be wondering what all the fuss is about. Read on to learn about our unique camps!

Our camps are all about freedom, forest exploration, climbing trees, flying on ziplines, adventuring at our famous Dirt Slide and Rock Village, singing and drama at the Forest Theater, cooking in the barn or makery kitchens, creating outside-the-box art and construction projects, and more. We believe in the kind of play described in this terrific video about self-directed play!

Hours are 8am-3:30pm with an option to register for extended day until 5:30pm.
We accept campers in kindergarten through 5th grade.
YOUR CHILD MUST BE 5 YEARS OLD TO ATTEND TWD CAMPS. We are aware that some schools admit children to 4-year old kindergarten programs. Our program is for children who would be eligible for public school kindergarten through fifth grade. Children must be able to handle their bathroom needs without assistance. Our farm programs are filled with lots of movement and activities. As such, children need to have a certain level of energy and physical ability. We have found that most children under the age of 5 are not able to manage that level of activity for the whole day.

Please be aware that our counselors are not trained to work with special needs/rights children. Click here to read about our expectations for camper behavior. Although we have children who have extra needs attend our camps sometimes, we require parents to communicate with us prior to registering their child. We do this because we value each child who participates in our camps, and we do not want to be in a situation where we are not trained to accommodate someone's needs.

Our camp fee for 3:30pm pick-up is $65. Adding extended day to 5:30pm is $20 extra per camper. We require a minimum of 5 registered campers for each camp. We hire well-qualified counselors who are college age or older. If you attended our summer camp, you will already recognize some of our counselors.
Our indoor spaces include our 1800 square foot barn and our 1800 square foot maker studio.
