Sunflower microgreens are an all-time favorite! They are large, substantial greens that are crunchy with a sweet, nutty flavor. We have been known to eat them straight from the tray! Definitely Shelley’s favorite (and a favorite of young children!).

Snow Pea Mammoth Melting Sugar Pod Microgreens  ($1.50/oz)

If you love snow peas, this is the microgreen for you! Sweet, crunchy, delicious!

Red Arrow Radish Microgreens ($2.70/ounce; $20/half pound)

Flavor: Spicy & slightly floral

Nutrients: Vitamins A, B, C, E, & K, folic acid, niacin, potassium, iron, phosphorus, pantothenic acid, calcium, magnesium, zinc, carotenes.

Red Arrow Radish is the mini-me of radishes. With its pink/light red stem and green, crunchy leaves, it mimic the radish in both looks and taste. Best on a salad or sandwich!

Hard Red Spring Wheatgrass ($2/ounce; $25/pound)

Flavor: The familiar intense sweetness that wheatgrass is known for. A sugary sweetness with a mild bitter aftertaste.

Nutrients: Vitamins A, C and E, as well as iron, magnesium, calcium and amino acids

This is a great microgreen, as it can be eaten fresh or blended and frozen for later consumption.
