Microgreens at Belle Vie
Belle Vie Farm grows microgreens for pre-order customers. Currently, we offer the following microgreens for sale: sunflower, snow pea, and radish. You must pick up your microgreens from Belle Vie Farm in Chapel Hill, as we do not deliver. We are located just 2 miles from downtown Carrboro at 3000 Damascus Church Road in Chapel Hill. Please order at least 14 days before you wish to pick up your greens. Email us with the greens you want, the amount and the date you wish to pick up. We will contact you within 24 hours with confirmation of your pick up date.

Sunflower Microgreens ($1.50/oz)

Flavor: crunchy, nutty, fresh

Nutrients: Vitamins A, B complex, D, and E, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus

Sunflower microgreens are an all-time favorite! They are large, substantial greens that are crunchy with a sweet, nutty flavor. We have been known to eat them straight from the tray! Definitely Shelley’s favorite (and a favorite of young children!).

Snow Pea Mammoth Melting Sugar Pod Microgreens ($1.50/oz)

Flavor: crunchy, very sweet, fresh (tastes just like snow pea pods)

Nutrients: Vitamins A and C, folic acid, calcium, iron, and fiber

If you love snow peas, this is the microgreen for you! Sweet, crunchy, delicious!

Red Arrow Radish Microgreens ($2.70/ounce; $20/half pound)

Flavor: Spicy & slightly floral
​
Nutrients: Vitamins A, B, C, E, & K, folic acid, niacin, potassium, iron, phosphorus, pantothenic acid, calcium, magnesium, zinc, carotenes.

Red Arrow Radish is the mini-me of radishes. With its pink/light red stem and green, crunchy leaves, it mimic the radish in both looks and taste. Best on a salad or sandwich!

Hard Red Spring Wheatgrass ($2/ounce; $25/pound)

Flavor: The familiar intense sweetness that wheatgrass is known for. A sugary sweetness with a mild bitter aftertaste.

This is a great microgreen, as it can be eaten fresh or blended and frozen for later consumption.
