Thrilled with our new chicken waterers!

We’ve got about 45 new chicks we are about to introduce to our group at the Lakehouse chicken coop. We’ve had trouble at the Lakehouse with the chickens pooping in their water and us not noticing it as much because we don’t go to the Lakehouse as often each day as we go to the Belle Vie coop.

These are our new automatic caterers that will attach to our barrel water system there. All stainless steel. I plan to build a stainless dome over it to prevent the girls from climbing on the edge. It’s a small thing, but every bit of automation helps manage our 34-acre farm and silvopasture forest!
